Amazon Payments enlisted me to redesign a section of the existing Amazon Services website to highlight their new online eCommerce service called Pay with Amazon. Amazon Services is a collection of online solutions targeted at merchants who sell, or wish to sell, their products and/or services on Amazon.com.
The goal of the site was to successfully promote the new service with a user-friendly design, while adhering to the Amazon brand. The design had to integrate into existing site UI, while providing a beautifully designed experience to excite the audience and generate product awareness and sales. The project included designing new marketing and advertising assets in addition to the website.
I worked with management to develop a seamless experience that integrated into the existing website. Main navigation was streamlined and I designed a tabbed system on a subsidiary page that walked the user step by step through use of the product. The homepage focused on the simplicity of the product, with screenshots of the product in use. I used bold color for CTA's and whitespace to provide a clear path and uncluttered visual.
The response was overwhelmingly positive and the design used in other marketing materials, although we did adjust the design during the ensuing iterative design process prior to launch.
